Comparing

So if the basic way of viewing art and galleries at fair context is comparing. Who has the freshest ideas? Who’s art would fit in my living room? Is that booth better than that other? Am I as an artist doing intresting pieces when comparing that one (many of the audience seems to be artists).

I noticed that the basic way to look at visitors in the fair is comparing. Why I should talk to that person? Do I benefit more talking to that person or to that other one?  Is that person interested at our gallery more useful reasons for our point of view than that other one? Is it more useful to me use my time in this booth or with this person than these other ones?
